Flexible and Easy Returns

You can return items purchased in-store or online at any DOIT LED & SOLAR store, or you can arrange to have your online order picked up by contacting Customer Support.


Items Purchased in Our Stores

Items purchased at one of our Canadian stores can only be returned in-store. For fast, easy returns, keep your receipt. It not only ensures you get the proper credit for your purchase, but it also helps our Associates process your return quickly.


Items Purchased Online

For your convenience, items purchased on can be returned to any of our Canadian stores within 14 days of purchase, subject to the Return Exceptions below.


Bring the item(s) with a copy of your shipping confirmation email to your local DOIT LED & SOLAR store for credit to your original tender or a DOIT LED & SOLAR store credit. If PayPal was used during your purchase, your PayPal account will be credited for the return amount. Merchandise must be returned in unused, like-new condition. Please see Return Policy Exceptions (below) for further details.


Online returns can also be made by contacting our Customer Support within 14 days of received only, regardless of payment method. We'll arrange for your item to be picked up and returned, as well as provide you with a return authorization number (RA#).

Return Policy Exceptions

Some Special Order returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Cancellations may also be subject to a 25% restocking fee.


We require an acceptable form of government-issued photo identification (see below for more details) for non-receipted returns and returns generated from purchases made with store credits. These returns are subject to verification system approval. Information collected in connection with purchase transactions and merchandise returns will be used by DOIT LED & SOLAR for the purpose of fraud detection and making return authorization decisions.


Gift cards, gift certificates and store credit cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or cheque.


Any product damage and/or defects must be reported within 10 days.


Items should be inspected thoroughly at the time of delivery. If you are not satisfied, refuse the item before signing the delivery receipt. Be sure to report any product defects or damages with the delivery agent. Damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. After 48 hours, you may visit your local store or call 1-587-535-3648 for assistance.


No returns on:

Custom products: No returns.


Custom-tinted paint department products: No returns.


Wallpaper and flooring samples: No returns.


Clearance: No returns.


Acceptable Forms of ID

You may be asked to present an acceptable form of government-issued photo identification for purchases and/or returns. Acceptable forms of ID include unexpired federal- or provincial-issued photo ID including driver’s license, military ID and passports. Your ID number/province will be collected and used for the purpose of fraud detection and making return authorization decisions.  As a security measure, your ID number is electronically converted into a substitute number. This substitute number and province are the only data retained and used from the ID.

Other Terms and Conditions

DOIT LED & SOLAR reserves the right to request valid identification prior to accepting merchandise for a return.


DOIT LED & SOLAR reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of certain merchandise at any time and for any reason.


DOIT LED & SOLAR will only accept the return of merchandise purchased from DOIT LED & SOLAR store.


Purchases made with a Customer Agreement must be returned to the same location in which it was purchased.
